ABOUT JANELLE

I began my career in 2006 after graduating from the European Institute of Cosmetology where I studied under NAHA winners Ryan & DeAnnalyn Teal. Richard Herrera About Hair is where I completed my apprenticeship and began my journey as a Goldwell Color specialist. Later I traveled to Santa Monica, California to attend a course at the Vidal Sassoon Academy to hone my cutting skills. I became Deva Curl certified in 2015 and continue to seek out ongoing education in color, cutting, styling, and product knowledge.

My passions lie in precision cutting, coloring, and working with natural curl patterns. Enhancing people’s natural hair color and textures to showcase how uniquely beautiful they are is one of my greatest joys.

When I’m not in the salon you can find me chillin' with my loves Ryan and Hygge, spending time outdoors, and volunteering at Hopewell House.
